KODAK Announces a New Photo Printer

Eastman Kodak Company and Prinics Co., Ltd. announced that they have entered into a multi-year agreement for Prinics to license the Kodak brand name for Dye-sublimation photo printers, including consumables and accessories. Prinics plans to launch its first products in July 2016.

“You press the button, we do the rest.” was an advertising slogan used by George Eastman, the founder of Kodak. The new “One-touch” photo printing feature of the KODAK Photo Printer Dock reinforces 130 years of Kodak’s reputation. “The Prinics team has global experience and expertise in the photo printing industry. We are pleased to be working with such a talented team and are very excited about the one-touch photo printing concept.” said Steve Parsons, Director of Brand Licensing for Kodak’s Consumer Products Group.

Prinics’s CEO, K.H. Noh founded Prinics in 2005, a global supplier specializing in consumer photo printers and its consumables. Terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.
